theres a pic on the front page from that place of smarty on a ktm200exc destroying a huge sand berm there. 4 of us from here done a coaching thing there. wasnt sure if the place was still there. was heaps of fun. heaps of pros ride there too im told. i wanna go out there sometime for a look. only probably i remember being is some tracks over lap and u just have to make sure everyone is riding in the right direction. i broke 3 levers in the one bloody corner there. good fun and yes it is legal. i think i made a post about this not too long ago asking if anyone wanted to go out there. directions i remember were if u going southbound and come into beaudesert you turn right at the lights.. take the next right like 300 metes down. then follow that for a couple of k's and your there.

okies some of you may all ready know that there is a motorbike park out the back of beaudesert but for those that do not know about it here it is. it took me some time to track it down but i found it and went out there yesterday to check it out, i havent riden there yet but i thought id post up some pics.

its about ten minutes out side beaudesert on the road to boonah, about 500m past Allan creek bridge. its completly legal to ride there and the best thing is its free. there is only one stipulation and that is that there is no riding allowed between 3:30pm and 4:30pm as the school buses use it as a bus stop.

the strange thing is that when i was looking for it i phoned beaudesert shire council they said that they were looking for a suitable place for a motorbike park but as of yet there was none. but well the first pic below shows there clearly is ? :ww

the track is mostly compact sand but ive been told after some rain its really good to ride on though the track has stutters about 65% of the way around. there are a few side tracks that allow you to run smaller courses and that track is run in ether direction depending on who gets there first and which direction they pick.

anyway here are some pics..

hope you enjoy..

its a moto-x track but apparently there are trails across the road and out the back of it, but i think you are only ment ride on the track as such. its farly big and you dont have to keep going right around you can ride just on the sections you like if you want.

having never been to Beaudesert but sort of knowing where it is, do you know the name of the road to Boonah?

found it : Boonah-Beaudesert Rd

is it just a moto track or is there some trails there?

I live just down the Rd . It was started by Beaudesert motorcycle club . ( now no longer running ) It will give you a good workout for sure . If it is dry times can be a unpleasant place Very soft sand ( locally called sandy ck ) . No one hassells riders ( athoritties ) no houses . Some important things must be said RUBBISH please take it home with you , it would help if you even picked up someones leftovers ( dirty F*&#ers ) Saftey for your selves & others please be observant of other people . There can be a very large speed diffrence on the track between the fast & not so fast . & because the track has crossed & criss crossed over the years the potentual is there .
Track is hard on the body sandy woooooooppppppps & more wwwooooooppppss . Young learners find it to much & it just disscourages them . Is also right beside the main rd so don't do anything stuppid & wreck it for other people . It is not a large area so again if a few riders there please use caution..!!!!!!!!!! I don't want to see the Ambo's heading out there.

Allso remember to spare a thought for me as you drive past my house . My bike is Broken & I see everyone of you lucky " B " go past on the back rd past the town . :BH :BH :BH :BH
