Taken from European lingo I think...

2-Stroke/4-Stroke in Dutch is 2-Takt/4-Takt.

There was a thread about it a year ago and it had the proper explanation, not sure if it is still around tho..

Yep, its T for Takt.

Dunno about being Dutch Its German for 2time or 4time (Takt is clock / time in german IIRC)
