Too many leave it far too long before servicing which sure speeds up wear.
That quality anodizing treatment should be done originally to last eons.

They said it had been fixed for the 2019 ZF suspension. That is not true in my case forks worn under 50hrs.
Rear worn under 200hrs and all less than 12 mths old.

Why should we have to spend additional dollars on getting them re anodized.
If aftermarket electroplaters can get it right to last eons then the oem ones should last also.
I dont believe any thing has changed.

Nice review. I missed the Beta demo day up in SE QLD a few weeks ago. Iím kicking myself now. The XT is starting to sound very appealing now that theyíve improved the suspension and extended the swingarm. Hmm.

          Yes.

I then had my forks tubes sent to Japan for Kashima coating upgrade, about $500.
Did this so it would last eons, not weeks again. (They are still perfect last time I checked now with triple the hours on them that i got from the oem forks )

Didnt want to trust the replacement set to last, especially when they said the wear problem has been fixed for the ZF forks. I t clearly wasnt fixed.

I'll start a 2020 known issues list. Only thing of note so far is the clutch line is often touching the cylinder (at least on two strokes).

It melted through Tim Coleman's line during his Sea to Sky race. A guy I know with a 2020 RR300 checked his and it was touching the cylinder as well. Easy fix though.

              2020 ergos or older ergos?

Anybody got a new 20 300 and can give a review.?? I don't believe any magazine incentive driven reviews and especially ADB these days. It would be good to hear how effective the counterbalancer is and how the bikes are performing from a true trailrider.

I rode them at the dealer release last year as a guest. I have owned 3 x 300's. They only had the standard version there. counterbalance engine is a lot smoother, Still has vibes, but nothing like the old 300!! Motor pulls a lot harder on the bottom compared to 19. feels stronger throughout but not sure. Think it goes hand in hand with the balancer, Egros felt good. suspension wise, out of the box is pretty good. Not perfect, but no bike is. I personally found the 250 to handle a tad better. Really liked the 250 a lot!!! Better than the 300 in fact. Lot of fun, Prob slower, but man what an engine that is. Im prob getting a 300 race and putting a 250 cylinder on it!! Get a ride on one if you can!!
