About the same amount of time KTM kept Husabergs available.

Looks like Beta may be getting a few converts jumping across from Gas Gas especially after the announcement that the new Race models are equipped with KYB forks and no oil injection :grinning-

If KTM throw money at GG to do a joint venture Enduro bike with KYBs and the same water cooled electric motor/clutch/gearbox configuration that the TXE uses, I'll be interested.

Otherwise, this looks like a good idea from Black Torrot and KTMs point of view, but a step backwards for the riders. Looks like I'll be keeping my 2018 EC for a while..

Just need to look at what they did to Husqvana and Husaberg.

They will keep the trials bikes and maybe the electrics
and the rest will become nla and ancient history.

I don't believe so Tom. Warehouse clearing old stock. 2017 & 2018 bikes(MX & XC) for $8K-$9K. Cheap but ridiculous to wait 3 years to try move them on.

At this stage, I'll either grab a pair of 2020's (200,300) accepting that there will be issues getting parts into the future, or simply keep the 18.
There are little things that required attention but now that they are sorted I've never been happier or, more importantly comfortable and confident on this bike than anything else I've ever owned. It also has a habit of making me look good.

                Brakes: :grinning-
                Suspension: Clickers :grinning-
Brakes : Even better once the front end was dialed in with the clickers. :grinning-:grinning-
Engine: Head and jetting, bit of powervalve adjustment, then :grinning-

2018XC300@$11k out the door left a heap of room for personal setup - I only needed mousses, levers and secured throttle cable. One VERY happy wallet rt

Warranty replaced a radiator and pegs no questions asked, the pegs were ready for pickup before I had even let my dealer know one was broken.

There is absolutely nothing KTM can bring to that beyond parts availability, of which I have not yet experienced or encountered anyone that has actually experienced difficulty getting parts. It's always been "I heard a guy couldn't get.." or "I didn't ask my dealer yet".

                Gutted for GasGas.

Which bikes are you referring to ?? Where are these available from? A 300 XC Gasser, KYB equipped sounds very interesting

Which Model is that ? Need to compare at least kind of similar models.

                          2T 300 SE-R is RRP $12,590
2T 300 SE Factory with all the fruit is only $14,690 vs $16295 for KTM 6 days.

Yep spot on. No issues on parts for me as of yet. Some are on backorder though(CS seal kits, silencer rubber joiners, GP axle pulls) that I know of but aftermarket is available for most if in a rush.
$10K out the door for my '18 XC250 was a deal. In saying that Perth Husky had brand new TX300s(2018) for $9K OTD. Bargain!
There'll be some deals next year I reckon on Spanish era GGs!

These were white KTMs I was talking about mate. 2017 & 2018 warehouse leftovers I'd say. Good deals.
I know the '19 XC Gassers should be going cheap if any left. I'd be pushing hard to get a XC300 for $10K especially with the deals Husky is doing.
