Yep , they're a great buy and generally any niggles are easy or inexpensive to sort out . The only complaint is the standard seat shape , there is a comfort seat option but I just modded mine . The ABS is switchable . I will change my tyres to a more aggressive pattern and drop the gearing after I wear the originals out . There is no better bang for buck bike out there .

Every one we sold was a problem. Fuel pump mount plate didn't seal properly in the base of the tank was a favorite.. the rubber gasket would be crimped, and would dump a tank full of fuel on the rider and motor. Hmmm nice. 3 times, I think.

The were also unrideably lean standard. Pipe was cherry red within seconds, white within minutes. Only production bike I've ever seen where it got so hot you could see through the header pipe. Rode like crap.

They were the big ticket problems, but they all had other issues.. seat was awful, turning circle was immense, cheap crinkly electrics.

Find one that's been sorted and there's probably a useable bike under there somewhere. And to be fair, I'm talking about the early ones..

My model had a raft of changes , all the other common faults are trivial and inexpensive or warranty items , I would buy another one, guys blow 16k on a kato and don't blink , 11k on a bike with a 2 year warranty and you can ride around Australia is a bargain.

          I've owned a 610 Husqvarna... Others too... 430 & 360.
I'd buy a 630 Husqvarna in good nic.. at the right price.

Having owned similar... I kinda know what that's all about.
Holding a wheelstand in top gear, 70hp is more than I had.

SWM does one? and a DBW member owns one?
They have their foibles... I'm familiar with that.
