Help a Kiwi new to South Australia

Hi Ya'll,
planning on moving to SA in August and looking to get straight into trail riding, enduro's etc ASAP after I arrive. Would appreciate some feedback on where to find good riding etc, a good deal on a "new" bike (currently have a CRF450X but haven't any strong preference....may sway towards EXC300 tho).
Also looking for a place to live with like minded peeps so yeah....let me know of decent pads you know of too.
Cheers

plenty of rides in sa (not that i do many).

keep your eye on organise a ride. Ariel MCC has a strong presence on DBW and other clubs (AMTRA, DSMRA) have regular trail rides while clubs like Gawler MCC club have stong club series.

hondas are pink but there are plenty of them at most of our rides. ktm's kost too much but the 300 is also quite popular here.

When I read the title Kiwi needs help, I thought you wanted to know where to buy the best Fush & Cups or what is the legal age for making out with ugg boots ?? ^nana^nana^nana

OK, fun over with.

Where in SA you moving to, that's the vital bit of info if you want to know where to ride. Unlike NZ you can't drive from side to side and fall of the edge in one day. There are some good spots around, but SA has probaly the worst attitude to riding areas by our law makers than any other state. Vic is best.

I am the treasurer of this club, we have a good bunch of guys you are more than welcome to come along when you get here.

Sweet...thanks guys!
You've been a great help.
Looks like there's quite a bit going on....heaps of clubs too, primo! I'll be moving to Adelaide probably mid August.
I'll be buying a 450 (don't care what colour) or exc300 (09 at latest)....so if anyone knows of anything mint for a good price i'd be keen.
Cheers
