I've got a factory manual. I can't seem to find anything specific in the wiring diagram.

I've patched up the snapped / cut wires and tidied it all up. It seems like they're more to do with tail lights etc than the electrics of the bike running.

There is spark and the headlight illuminates as I kick it. I don't think these couple of damaged wires have anything to do with it.

Might try a compression gauge on the engine next. It's frustrating as hell!!!! Considering it's already been to a Yamaha dealer and a bike mechanic, I'd have assumed this sort of simple stuff would have been check already.
