All I'm saying is... Maybe douse/fill/slosh/mix/rinse/wash your oil measuring container with fuel & then tip that into your tank too.
Edit: I've found Horse Dosing Syringes to be useful in many ways & cheap too; sadly, very few Chemists/Pharmacies stock them.
