Apart from that I love the bike. Great power for a 200....I'm 6ft 1 and 100kg and the bike gets me around no problem. I have a 20km hard loop I ride and this bike gets around it quicker and easier than the 300.
Agree the 200 is a great single track weapon. I raced 200 for a fair percentage of my career. I did feel it lacked the bottom end I was looking for. Could be I have been on 300 for the last 3 years. Just found that on big hills it would pull ok fine no not pick up pace. Could be a jetting fix more than anything

I知 not chasing anyone in the rocks at 7km/h with no airflow - hence the fan.

All wired up & pulling air through. I used the fan plug off the loom & put a waterproof switch next to the map switch on lhs of the 礎ar.

If the bike is getting hot enough for a lean-out hanging idle & slight top end noise, I think a fan is pretty cheap insurance.

Even when I知 trying to play the cool kid (extreme hard enduro rider) I知 still trying to catch the guy in front of me in the rock gardens, just the way I ride I guess.

110% I agree with you on your last line-Fan is a pretty cheap insurance. A lot on here will disagree with you on that one. I知 pretty sure they road firetrails though

Installed a manual fan on my Beta 300RR and only very rarely need to switch it on. I also use a Tusk 2.0 thermo cap. Under grueling conditions when the temps get higher than 200 F I will switch the fan on. When the motor is turned off the fan stops running. Note that I wired the fan to the factory fan plug-in.

Re-greased linkage & swing arm bearings, replaced chain guides & rear brake pads. Pads were original Galfer - 123hrs & well over 2000km.
