The Flinders Classic XII is on!!!

For all you Legends not on the Facebook here are all the details for the Ride:

Before you go any further - REGISTERED BIKES & LICENSED RIDERS ONLY

Some epic tracks you may never get to ride again!

Suitable for good riders on anything from WR250's, DR650s, DRZ400's, 450 and 500cc enduro bikes with big tanks to KTM1290's & GSA's. There is some harder tracks from Hawker with long deep sandy sections so if your not up for it then its easy to bypass this leg.

  2. Rock up Thursday Morning EARLY (8am) at Peterborough to start the ride
  3. Rock up at Burra and ride back to Peterborough
  4. Rock up to Peterborough Thursday arvo/night to commence the ride Friday Morning to the Flinders Classic XII

THE MAIN EVENT - 2019 FLINDERS CLASSIC XII

The Flinders Classic is all about supporting the locals and giving back to the community!!!

Big news is it will now incorporate some organized rides through stations so you get to ride places and see sights you have never previously seen or may never see again!

Also instead of bringing your own food, everything is supplied for breakfast lunch and dinner so you can pack light and have more time to ride! And we are not talking about just a couple of snags and vegemite sangas...The whole event is being taken care of by The Blinman Hotel and Head Catering from Whyalla.
Breakfast Lunch and Dinner from Friday Morning to Monday Morning!!!!

Another bonus is that if you come off, you're covered! I have the event covered for riders and land owners by the AMA so you can rest assured that if something bad happens, you are covered.

3 different categories so bring 3 different bikes if you want!!!

☆ ADV – Cruise the Gorges, ride the back roads, be guided through station roads out to incredible views, historical sites and even Lake Torrens. Perfect for guys and gals just wanting to enjoy the view, see the amazing gorges and lookouts.
Suitable for Big Bore ADV bikes and even 2 up if your keen!
Super Tenere's, 1200GSA's, Tigers etc and plenty of people still do these rides on the CRF450s, WR250R's and others as long as you have the fuel range and a comfortable seat.

☆ Enduro – For all of us who bring our 500’s, 450s & 350's etc and want some more pace then the same goes as always but instead of riding the same 3 tracks 8 times we will take you on new fast flowing tracks station tracks plus a few of the old favorites too.

☆ Hard Enduro – For you who want a real challenge then load up the 2 stroke hard enduro weapons because weve got some just about impossible gorges, waterfalls, cracks in the earth that only a hand full of you will even consider riding. 30klm in 6hrs is the type of riding that goes on here!!!

It’s a flat fee for the weekend that includes:

Food, Entertainment and Insurance cover for you and the land owners!

Spirit of the Classic Awards night and other great events will be on!

All you do is bring your mates, bikes and beer!!!

$250 per rider which includes a camp site.
If you want a cabin you need to arrange this with Dave or Caroline at Angorichina Village

http://www.angorichinavillage.com.au/

Tickets go on Sale end of this week (12th Jan) and Close 1st April 2019
All tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and if you cant attend, funds will donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service!

More details to follow so stay tuned!!!

Hi Stu just to be clear the flat fee option is the only option if you camp at the pub or village over the traditional 4 days for the classic now?

Dave at Ango capped me at 150.
Once that sells out which is going to happen pretty quick, I will open tickets to other options but havnt explored that with him yet.

Still heaps of time.

I'll keep this thread posted anyway.
