Check for an vacuum leak between carb and head. Oil level correct? Rag in airbox?
When did this occure? Was it being ridden at the time? Was it on first start up (after storage or maintenance)?
What colour is the smoke and does it have an odour?
Does it run ok with throttle?

i have not thought of vacuum leaks.
It had sat for 1 month and did it on start up so did not ride.
i think the smoke was white but will check again
yes can rev up as long as choke is on other wise it dies

White smoke?? Does it smell? Could be steam from water in the exhaust. Was it washed just before being stored?

Runs with choke but dies without sounds like a vacuum leak. Spray around the inlet manifold and carb with crc / wd40 while the engines running. Any change in running indicated a leak. If you can't find one it wouldn't hurt to try fresh fuel, check that the fuel cap breather hose and vent is clear and check carb vent hoses are clear.
