How to adjust 18-20mm Triple Clamps?

G'day guys. Just a quick one . I recently won a set off ebay, they came off an 06 450Sx and will be going onto my 06 300EXC. My question is how do I tell if they are set at 18mm or 20mm? There appears to me no writing anywhere telling me which it is set at. Looking down the tube I can see that it is off centre , I just dont know which way is which.

Thanks !

Matt

Ther should be a punch mark on the 20mm setting, Or if it has a hole for the steering lock it only lines up on 20mm aswell...

Cheers Baz. So the punch mark will be on the top of the tube , so I can see it without having to pull the clamps apart?
Do you know if the SX models come with the adjustable clamps set at 18mm or 20mm because I dont think it has been adjusted from the factory.

Mine cane in three pieces, Pull yours apart and clean em up..
The steering stem is bolted in, Agood hit with a punch will knock it out after removing the nut, You sould be able to see markings for the different
settings.

hope this helps..
