I saw a few posts on FB of a few blokes who ventured into Yalwal. Reports were a lot of trees town on the firetrails. Might take some time to tidy up.

Glorified trail hack.

A firefighter was lost on Sat evening as a result of a falling tree.

Respect common sense and community spirit can mean a lot.

* This was written a short while after also learning Paulo Goncalves passed away during stage 7 at Dakar, overnight our time. God speed.

one fire trail took us approx an hour to get through as there were trees down every 20 meters or so. normally it is a road that takes 5 min to ride. it was like a 10km long enduro cross track
