2t motard Yamaha DT 230 2001

Would like to put a 17 inch front wheel on for starters, not sure how much further I want to take it.
Any pointers on where to start.
It has the same chassis and wheelset as ttr250 as far as I can tell.

WR450 2007
TT600 1984

XR200 1982
XR200 1980
QA50 1978?

Heaps of euro guys have modded dt125 and dt200 bikes into motards....lots of info just a Google search away. Best mods for performance are pipe, muffler and intake airbox mods plus carbon reeds....the dt frame hasn't really changed much except for the last few late 90's to 2000 models.
2008 KTM 200EXC... Yep, taken up smoking again...
2001 Yamaha WR250F....the original modern 4 stroke quarter litre thrill machine....13.5:1 Vertex slug & auto-decomp cam
1995 DT200...a dark horse that one...reliable, underestimated but surprisingly quick with a few mods...
