Seriously, we have a swag of blokes comparing jetting specs on various motors where they have no idea if they're the same. Like I said, am I missing something?

Squish is a large 2.06mm, Nutty. I plan on having a chat to Dave at TSP when it's top end time.

Holy sheet. If you jet out the spooge at those clearances the bike will lock up on full throttle in winter. Thanks Gib.

Switched from Motul 710 to Penrite MC-2T & rode 30-odd km of low speed rocky trails and loose hills.

I知 using the same ratio (2%) & have used Penrite to good effect for over a combined 150hrs in 2-t motorcycles. I trust it.

Oil slick completely gone, bike ran smooth as butter - thanks for the tip, Nate.

Next, I値l try TSP痴 (dynoed) jetting specs for the Gas Gas 250 motor.

BTW, why would two oils that are purportedly so close in viscosity & flash point yield very different results, all else being equal?

With full-syns you'll notice little difference. With semis the mineral base:esterolymer ratios can vary widely between brands. Maxima, Belray semis are almost full-syns, the cheaper ones might as well be 100% mineral.
