NO harm in reusing the pri side gasket cover. Worst case it'll weep and then you'll have to replace it or have another go using some sealant. Check your PV tension while you're in there if you haven't yet. That also could be part of your running fun. In regards to the little end, for the extra $15 its peace of mind.

You know whats scary Nathan.. I have duplicates of everything you have listed in my own personal spares kit.. Minus the piston.. but I'll be adding one of them soon! I hold more stock than my dealer.. Hahha

That doesn't surprise me one bit
PV tension was checked and adjusted slightly not long ago when I modified the clutch basket but ill check it again and see how the clutch basket is holding up since the mods.

So many various sized seals and o-rings its hard to keep track of whats what! 200/250/300 head o-rings overlap and interchange inner to outer.. crank o-rings, spare seals kits, countershaft seal o-rings, exhaust o-rings. S3 insert sealing o-ring. Spare plugs galore. Anyone need jetting supplies.

I'm betting as soon as you install the new top end your fuel economy will fall into line, and your jetting will be improved. Best double check those reed petals too. Next bottom end I'm going to match the cases.

Disregard my previous post. I lied in it.
I bought a piston kit with complete gasket kit.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOP-END-G...item1c3396b546
Was cheaper than buying them separately.
Funnily enough even though the aus dollar has dropped a bit since I bought it it is now $50 cheaper!!!
Might have to buy a spare!

I got prices on complete kits today from 2 different Australian (Scotties and Gasgasparts) and for piston kit, little end, all gaskets etc was only looking at paying $250 - $270. Given there isn't too much difference now between buying local and from US I think ill buy local. Thanks for the link though.
Also could only find top end kits to suit up to 2010 300's on eBay. Oh well.

The top end kits are the same Nath..

Gaskets, and o-rings all the same, as is the piston, and rings.
