Tyre Changing

I need to put a semi road tyre on my bike so i can ride it to work.

what is the easyist way with tyre leavers and how many do i need to get it to fit.

any tricks that you can tell me on how to make it easier to change.

There was a post a while back linking to two videos. They were OK, but I reckon the guy was putting a 19" tyre on a 18" rim - it was just too easy to get on and off.

Chew the side walls of the tyre for a while to soften it up the bead and robert's you're mothers brother.

Seriously though, make sure you have decent tyre levers. CAR ONES ARE NO GOOD!!! Don't stick them in too far. This is pretty hard to explain in text. I find that having a little air in the tube helps it sit in place in the tyre when you put it back on so you can predict where it is and don't pinch it.

its only for 1 week for work experience which is only 10 minutes from my house.

Hi Browny.
Watch this 3 part video, makes it look really really easy but the tips are excellent, like 'use 3 levers' and window cleaner to lube the bead etc.
