Question Hema Maps topo maps software

Anyone use hema maps software for plotting, exploring or viewing topo maps?
Or is anyone out there using oziexplorer?

I've just got it and have a few q's for anyone who uses it...

Cheers.

I use OziExplorer a bit. I have created maps of places I have ridden from Google Maps images using gMapMaker. I basically only use OziExplorer for uploading and downloading waypoints and tracks from my GPS, and creating new tracks and waypoints for places that look worth riding in.

It's also quite useful for exporting tracks to KML files that you can then use in Google Earth for "fly arounds".

What are you wanting to do as a matter of interest?

I have some 25k topo maps that i want to stitch together into a larger map. I have been using the free version of Memory Merger to try and do this, but it only allows you to convert to a ozf3 map, which Hema Maps Navigator won't except.

Currently when I hover over an area in Hema Maps (basically Oziexplorer Lite I think), you can hit scale and that brings up the next more detailed map. I would like the 25k to be
the most detailed map in my set.

Also then i would like to be able to create an index map, which would make it easier to access the map.

Have you tried to do this at all? Any experience with Index maps?
Cheers.

Ahhh, no mate - WAY to complicated for me. As I said, I do the very basics and that's it.
