warning - it's highly addictive for something where all the best action happens at walking speed. managed to get the front wheel on a log, balance, then hop the back wheel into line to ride along it yesterday. drove home with a huge grin on my face, even though the young guy i'm learning from did it after me and worked in a big wheelie and flick turn off the log (bastard...).

That might have influenced my praise slightly...but it is well put together. The young'un makes it look far too easy!

...must resist temptation to buy a trials bike...must resist...

cheers jack. it's been a pleasure filming young ruben. he's 15 and only decided to start training for endurocross two weeks before the first event. a few months later he's the national junior champ! very impressive skills...

i'll have the next vid posted shortly - pivot turns and floater turns.

you'll have to pivot on one leg for this one then. pivot turns on the FE570 are a struggle, think i might have to convert over to a smoker.

I really need to sit down and watch all of these! I tried out some log pivots on the weekend, its not as hard as it looks.

yup, that's what i'm finding. bigberger and i went out today to tackle rock ledges and once you know the technique so much of this stuff suddenly seems easy. it's been interesting seeing just how fast bigberger is taking to the technical stuff with some basic techniques.
