Lighten the Clutch Pull on the 19's

Reading some of the info on the 19' 300ser bikes people are replacing the clutch springs for the KTM ones ???
Has anyone done this themselves ???
Does it lighten the pull at all ???

Any info would be nice to hear about if this is true or just more forum garbage !!

Not I, although heaps of guys on the shercooffroadforum have. I just put two washers between the clutch bolt and mount to reduce the tension on the clutch springs, like Owen describes in his video for his Beta https://youtu.be/t0J3TNj9lFQ

Sorted this with the 3 lighter KTM springs ...
Yes have seen some guys on the sherco forums removing 2 springs completely to reduce the pull, that wasnt for me, am happy with the result of the weight now I have.

I have an SEF-R myself and although the clutch pull is much lighter than the SE-R, I still wanted to see if I could make it lighter. The washers helped.

The parts catalog shows the SEF-R as having different springs to the SE-R. Id be curious to know what the difference is and if the KTM springs the SE-R owners are using would also work in the SEF-R.

There is a huge difference in the KTM springs over the stock 19' 300ser springs
I would be looking at only replacing the 2 springs in the 300sef as they only have a 5 spring setup I have a pic somewhere of the 2 different springs side by side somewhere ...
