Got one dirtyTested how good Chad's offroad tuning is and i'm very pleased with what he condured up for me.I felt surprised how, 'not' knackered i was. Even having fun with some stand-up slides track'n along. Took the dampener/risers off too which may have helped. Which is weird, when rolling angle trail debris i wasn't getting deflected as much as usual. More kudos to Chad? probably. Either way it was great to be out for a ride again.

New 3 fiddy.

One day.

Fitting new tyre and mousse today and heading off to Nowra on Friday night for the State Enduro R1 on the weekend. My boys are riding Sturday, me Sunday.

3 x 1hr cross country's each day.

You should come out of retirement and have a crack.

You're never too old. GB just took out a round of the AORC at 58.

Faster is easier than hard enduro too.

That's not to say I won't take you up on your offer one day

Embarked on a 'quick' oil change.

Sump plug not budging, started rounding it off using a standard socket & ratchet. Went to shop & got a spare sump plug as I don't want to be putting this back in. Got a 6 sided socket but with 1/2"drive, cant fit it on due to that crossmember behind the case being in the road. Start throwing an assortment of tools at it, multigrips, bash repeatedly with a hammer, etc etc no dice. Had the idea to weld a nut on the plug. Do that, can't get a good grip on it due to dodgy weld so spend another 15 minutes filing it down, get a spanner on it and crack, weld breaks straight away. Next welded a bolt onto the plug instead, do that, first turn with a spanner was SUCCESS.

Half a day to do a half hour job... better get myself a beer.

Never had this issue before but reading up seems like with a steel plug + aluminium case it's not exactly unheard of?

Does the 13/50 gearing give it more punch off the bottom?

Also what pipe are you running?
