Possible class changes 2015

Chris or Cade mentioned it over the weekend, possible changes for us old folk for next year.

Classes departing: Over 40's, 45's and 50's
New classes: Over 40's A, B and C.

No changes (so far) to o35's, they are already separated into expert and clubbies.

I don't mind it at the moment, as always with grading, is the consistency of who goes into which class.

Thoughts ?

Something else for context, Brandon Keinhuis in the over40 class won the clubman XC outright on Saturday.
Should the o40's A graders ride with the pro/experts like the o35 experts? Does that go against the grain of racing with your mates?

over 40's A, B, C classes gets my vote.

There tends to be two kind of vet riders, those who have gotten into racing in recent years and those who are on their way back down from high level competition in their younger years.

Having grades to vet classes would allow those newish to the sport to win trophies now and again without getting smoked by ex pro's every round, and it would allow ex pro's to race with other old ex pro's without having to do full 3 hr cross countries with 19yr old pro's.

ABC's make good sense, keeps racers closer together and keener competition, one of the things I like most with the DMCC who run the same classes. Bring it on I say
