Summer Lakes Ride Preview

13 bikes started the day. An unlucky number? Nah...


140 k's all up. We lost a fair bit of time with carnage and track scouting.

One crank case holed RMZ
Two broken levers RMZ
Two punctures RMZ and Berg
One front brake fluid leak Berg
One bark buster ripped off Husky
Gear lever fell off KTM
Chain off Berg
plus a lot of other small stuff breaking off or bending. It was a hardcore ride.

Recuper8 is probably the best hydration pack fluid you will ever use. Its like crack for dirt bike riders.

Sure are lucky

January 7th is track clearing on quads and novice riders day. Short day and nothing too hard.

wombat hill

Heres a bit of post ride trivia - the hill in the 4th pic is dam steep! checked it from the gps track and drops down 100m over 300m....
