Yep, the weather gods got wind of my plan to go out on the boat this weekend. So you can blame me for the rain and wind.

Reckon our only problem Saturday will be lens fog. Otherwise, as Karl said, conditions should be near perfect (if ya don't mind a bit of mud!).

Be great to catch up Claire.

So I think that better do us for this ride. Bakers dozen riders.

monsieur le strummer

great to see you planning more rides for 2103, merci beaucoup in advance!

count me in assuming i don't totally mess trying to change this leaking countershaft sprocket seal that won't come out.

the "other" nick can't make due to work commitments unfortunately...

i assume we'll be seeing the usual stylish riding from your missus when she finds water to play in at glasshouse?

Yep, those damn deceiving Glasshouse bog holes. You never know how deep they are gonna be!

bergdude, did you try the trick I mentioned?
Drill the tiny hole (care not to damage the bearing carrier behind the seal), then screw in a flat ended self tapper enough to pull the seal.

Worked for me, but what do I know!

Oh, and thanks for the pic of Sandy. She does love to play in the mud!

Damn, forgot my snorkel...

Well.... Dammit....

When I put this ride up, the forecast was for a few showers.
Now look at it!

Wouldv'e been nice to get a bit wet and keep cool, but I'm not so much into riding without being able to see where I'm going

So I reckon we might can this ride and try again next week or week after

Maybe check here first thing tomorrow just incase the weather decides to clear and we end up going..

But for now THE RIDE IS OFF

Yeah, I kind of miss riding in the mud (is that weird?).
Next weekend could be interesting... Enjoy your wednesday ride.
