Rec Reg Lighting Kit

Hi Guys,
A friend has brought himself a 2013 CRF250R.
What lighting kit do you guys put on for rec reg?

Does he need to go for an LED light system so the stator doesn't need upgrading?

There's Small Coil Rewind kits that are reasonably well put together, though there was a recent post complaining about value for money.
Unless he wants an actual usable night light, the leds and are fine for a twilight, tootling trip back to the cars, wouldn't be any good for riding at pace.

You will need a dc kit for a CRF. Some kits are quite expensive for what they are. Get one with a hydraulic brake pressure switch and a headlight surround. I got a small coil rewind kit and was not impressed with the quality of the product. The led headlight stopped working after a day. I changed my kit around slightly and wish I had just made my own kit. I would post a picture but it's doesn't let me. Let me know how you go. I have heard the maverick kits are the best value for money.
