UFO dual lense / Battery Type

Hi Guys,

So I've dusted the CR off after a year or two of rest and put a new dual lense UFO head light on to replace a broken one.

They're twin 12v 35w and I've wired both as on when I have them on and I have always just had a small battery in the air box.

I don't intend to have the light on but if I have to, how long would a Century PS1212 12v 1.2ah last if I had both lights running? Trying to work out if there is another small one I can get in the air box on a bracket that may give some decent life if needed.

Cheers

Scott

My thinking is along the lines of:
35w globes draw 3amps. Given you've got two globes they'll draw 6 amps.
A 1.2 ah battery is rated to deliver 1.2 amps for 1 hour before being below a useful voltage (around 10v).
Therefore the battery could run the lights for approx 10mins.

If I'm off track please feel free to correct me.

Thanks mate I appreciate the information.

Was hoping to fit one that would last an hour or two but needs to be small enough for my airbox.

Any suggestions what ah I should be looking for ?
