2017 300 EXC not starting

Dirt Bike world...
Im having issues with my new KTM, firstly the electric start button isnt working, sounds pretty straight forward however the weird part is when you press the electric start button the lights on the speedo all start to flash at random times, not the same time and Id say its similar to a christmas tree.
Out of all the lights the fuel light flashes the most.

Has anyone any idea what has caused this issue? The wires around the speedo all seemed to be plugged in fine, I was riding the bike and stopped for a break, went to restart and thats when the problems started.

I'd be having a chat with the Service Manager at your Dealer and seek his advice.

The 17's stator wires rub on the stator and wear through, so pull the case and check that. Guys are epoxying them down so they don't rub.

Have you checked that both battery terminals are tight?

Any dealer can do a warranty repair, take it to someone good. Sounds like a broken earth-feed somewhere.

Second on the terminals. A mate got stuck half way round the Killarney trail ride on Sunday. Pressed the started nothing happened. Sweeps came round and sanded back both terminals and boom, started first go.

Thanks for the replies...
Originally to fault find myself I had checked all the connections behind the head light, after the replies on here I went home and pulled the seat off to check the battery terminals.

All were tight and looked clean but there looked to be the smallest part of moisture on the terminal that bolts to the subframe, wiped it down, reinstalled and bike started first press

Im really surprised that the ignition lights were lighting up like they were, but there you go

thanks everyone for the help
