Ok so does anyone do Grass track out there?

Like I have said before I am pretty new to this whole Dirt bike thing so I was wondering if anyone out there knows about grass track? Does anyone race? Where is it on? Do they have practise days and what kind of equipment would I need to give it a go.

C'mon now boys who knows what?

If you mean grass track where they basically ride around a paddock with basically no jumps, then you should come along to oberon grasstrack on the 23rd Feb for the first race of the year.

grasstrack is easier on the bikes than motocross so you can do it with a rego bike. its sooo much fun. wide open, hold it on kinda stuff.

IF you can make it to oberon to check it out, you will not regret it, best grass track around. serious fun.

gumby, am i right????? &a

So let's say for arguments sake that I am a hack rider. Do they have Graded divisions?

I am heaps keen to check it out hey but I can't on the 23rd. How often are the races on? Do they have any practise days?

Hawkesbury club has a grasstrack on this sunday (16th) at Dargle.
See EMD for details. They will probably do day licenses but you will need to call them to find out.

Grades are A,B,C, over 35 and expert over 35.

You would ride C grade first up, if you start winning you move up to B and so on.

Only equipment needed is a bike in good repair and the correct gear.
New tyres are nice too. Good googles as it will be dusty.
