Lot of fiddly stuff to do lately, small but time consuming.
The bike was missing the side stand and kick start, both of which are almost impossible to buy.
I figured a stand wouldn't be too hard to make, so I started with a piece of water pipe.

It was a bit I got from the scrap metal bin at work(Where I get most of my material)

I cut a long wedge out of the back of it so it would have a nice taper.

Like a bought one.

For the kick starter, I just bought a pit bike one with a 13mm spline from Aliexpress.
Cut off the cinching bolt and welded it up

(the kick start shaft is so close to the chain on these bikes)

Bit of a drama with the pipe bottom section that I bought.
It was a long way off, so needed a lot of cutting and welding.

Just fitting the new muffler atm.

I'll bet this bit of school desk leg never thought it would be part of an exhaust system.

I haven't touched the motor besides looking down the plug hole with an endoscope to check the barrel, but I gave it a couple of kicks yesterday and it fired up.

You might notice that the seat is not as thick as standard.
The original cover had holes which had worn away the foam underneath, so I just cut it down, recovered it and stenciled the logo on.

(It's still got more padding than a Goldwing)

Not a show pony like the other two, just a good honest dirt bike.
Looking forward to giving it a burl.

Apparently the J and K kick starters are different from all the others, it has a 13mm spline. The one I have dodged up to fit will only give me a quarter turn before it hits the chain, It'll start it, but it's not good.

Thanks for the comments guys, appreciate it.

It's cost me a G so far, with no engine work, so I'm pretty happy with that.
