KTM 2017 excf start button issue

My 2017 KTM 350EXC F (45hrs) has just had a starting issue, during a recent ride and it was intermittent. Id hit the grey start button
and nothing, no priming of the pumps and definitely no start.

Hit the button a few times and eventually starts, stopped later in the ride and same again, intermittently though.

Got through the ride and returned home, only to have this issue happen again.
What I noticed at this time back home, I happened to rotate bars full right and it started, bars left and no start, then right and started on several attempts.

Now nothing, no start and no priming of the fuel pumps.
Below is what I have done so farÖ

∑ I have checked the battery, checks out correct voltage and crank amps,

∑ Checked earth strap from battery to connection behind battery, looked fine but cleaned these anyhow

∑ Checked starter solenoid, checked 20a fuses, look fine, sprayed contact cleaner on these connections

∑ Sprayed contact cleaner into the on/off switch

∑ Sprayed contact cleaner into the cut out switch

Wondering if you have had any experience with this issue and what your thoughts are on finding the cause
Look forward to your reply
Thanks in advance

Could be an exposed wire that's rubbed through on something.

When you turn the steering it's moving the wire, making it contact other things, etc.

Ok thanks Iíve checked wiring and all seem ok, even held the start button down and jiggled wiring, nothing
Thinking it could be the start button, any way of bypassing this switch and I can test?

Another guy on here had an elec problem with a Beta recently.
Was a dodgy wire which had rubbed/bent/fatigued and would short out when turning the bars.

Have you tried taking the starter button apart to see if it's got crud in there which is interrupting the connection?

Nice find.

What's the brains' trust best approach here?

Get a crimp wire joiner?
Or solder it and heatshrink?

Nice close up pics C-M, but hard to decipher whereabouts.
? At the Loom running along RH Side of the Steering Head?
Where the loom gets trapped by the fork leg?

Yep from riders position on RH side of bike
This wire is from the connection harness next to fork leg that runs down along RH side of frame
Itís certainly a clean cut, no signs of rubbing, the strands shown in pics was after I trimmed the casing away to test
