Mid-valve is:

Nut
Washer
12.10
16.10
18.10
16.10
20.14
21.20
21.12 x 7
Piston
16.10
22.07 x 3
18.07
16.07
14.07
12.03
16.10
22.40

Float was 0.4mm roughly.

After reading up on TT, I have pulled 1 x 21.12 (R) & 1 x 22.07 (C) to see if that softens up the valving a tad in our rocky terrain. A lot of punters have had success with this small re-valve for bush riding.

Iím new to re-valving, so am going slowly & 1 change at a time.

That's 2 changes (both C & R) and if you haven't replaced the shims you've removed with smaller diameter shims at the clamping shim end of the stack you will have increased the float you have wouldn't you? That certainly WOULD make it more plush... possibly MUCH more plush!

Also, are you sure you've measured those thicknesses correctly. I thought shims came in standard thicknesses of 0.10, 0.15, etc. thicknesses.

Just following what a few people have done on TT for plusher rock & woods riding, Arctra.

Understand re float - will have to test damping properly in the bush, but action felt good jumping off & smashing into kerbs this arvo.
