Any riding up near Yarram??

Hey

Just wondering if there is any good riding up near Yarram? Thinking of going up to see my grandparents and not sure if i should take the bike up with me or not. They Live at Manns Beach. Had a look at the melways but doesnt seem to be too many forests up that way. Anyone live up there and know of places that i can ride?

Cheers

Kingers

Closest places to ride are Alberton West & Woodside - a few locals took me for a ride there a few years ago - sandy/loamy tracks. Well worth taking ur bike

I came in from the Northern end of the Alberton West forest, but I guess you'd come allong the SouthGippsland Hwy & take the Coal Mine Road.

Just noticed this thread.

There is some absolutely brilliant riding down there. Best I have done in VIC.

It's a bit of a hidden spot that locals now about. Crazy level 5 hill climbs going km's. Big gully's to decend into (if you don't get out it's chopper time).
