Clutch lightening mod.

Anybody tried and done a few ks with the clutch shimming trick I came across on youtube ?
Tried to like a Clake one light but just wasn't for me, have a midwest lever which is pretty good, but just can't beat the feel of standard.
Would like a light standard until my left hand comes good.

Yes, fit the slave cylinder, 4 x clutch springs, retaining washers and bolts from the 2018 models, this gives a lighter clutch with great feel

Correct, no washers
I did this to my 2015 XT300 and the clutch is considerably lighter and I have a customer who did the same to his 2017 XT who reckons its better than his Clake One Light

In effect, you are fitting all the components that were on the 2014 RR350 Factory (Race Edition) and are now fitted to all the 2018s, except the 2018s use 6 springs, whereas all pre-18 BETAs use 4 springs

So just order the clutch components for a 2018 (slave cylinder, 4 x springs, 4 x washers and 4 x bolts)

The MY19s have been fitted with an even larger slave cylinder, but I haven't seen a parts manual for the 19s as yet

just the washers and the midwestern lever were awesome for my 250 ( until I stoopidly sold it....), no need for Clake.

I mounted an EXP Core 3 and all problems were gone. It has a hex screw which also influences the feel and power needed to clutch.

I fitted a hydraulic clutch with midwest mountain level to my '07 CRF450x, light and lots of feel.
