thanks @Oldboy, yeh not sure if that will be applicable in this scenario being that I already have modified maps

No upgrades to the ECU, I found they weren't needed once I did everything else.

I'm running 13/52 gearing.

Sounds like I have mostly done all the basics that can bring up bottom end (I might try the different gearing, I think as its longer it might feel a little less spritely off the bottom but might make it feel a little less between gears for some corners).

At how many hours are you putting a new piston kit in?
Bike hasn't been raced and oil changed every 10 to 12 hours. Compression is good but not excellent.
It's been suggested to use an OEM kit as some of the aftermarket ones have seen catastrophic failures.

150-200 hrs. I know people who have done 220-230 hrs on the original piston.

Were there any significant problems with the 2017 350exc or xcf motors?
Have heard mixed reviews which I am unsure of where they are legitimate faults with the design.
