Don't use to much heat as it will affect the glue on the flywheel magnets. I put load on the puller, soak with wd40 and sharp solid hits, Repeat over a few days

OK, it's finally off
After a week and a half of heating it up twice a day and then leaving it to soak over night in various concoctions.
This morning I decided to just smoke the sucker with no regards for the electrics. I hit it with the butane torch till it was smoking.
This afternoon after it cooled I pulled the center bolt out of the puller to soak it again, Then put the bolt back in and was putting some load on it,
and
"POP"

Such a relief, and the electrics look fine.

Thanks for everyone's advice.

Well this is weird, Took the timing plate off and this is what I see.
How does the seal get around the seal retainer ???

Would have to have a seriously flogged main bearing to do it to itself, otherwise it's a budding mechanic with no idea that's done it.

I'd have to call "B", because there's no play in the mains at all.
Might explain why there's a 340 main jet in the carb when the stock jet is 310.

Better add a C option, rubber encased seal, could probably blow it past the retainer plate with a good crankcase cough.
