*how was the night riding and what lighting was used ?

Thanks mate. The night riding wasnít bad. Jake used a light designed by trail tech and it was good. More of a spot light. Allowed for faster speeds. Mine was my own set up of LED light and light bar. It was ok but didnít have a long enough beam for high speeds. Not that there was much opportunity for that anyway. Overall I was pretty happy with the set up I had.

Well done mate. I did a double crossing on my DRZ last year but only the first one was in one day. You'd have to be pretty fit to achieve what you did. What size tank did you have and how much extra fuel were you carrying? The other bikes in my group that made it one day were all 450/500 enduros - I think that's what I'll ride next time!

Awesome mate. Did you stay at mt dare and come back the next day?

I had a 20l tank and a 10l bladder. I used 28 litres each way. I used to have a drz 400. Good bike. The fuel economy of the 450/500 is awesome though and hard to beat. Makes these sorta trips a lot easier not having to carry as much fuel.
