Did you ever rev it soon after a cold start when it'd been stored for a while so the journals were dry? That could easily gall the alum bearing surface.

Good to kick the motor over gently 5 times with kill switch pressed if not run for a while.


I'm not sure how it's happened, I have cleaned the oil screen but I purchased bike second hand.
I think it may have ran on its side for a while or someone over tightened the cam cap bolts.

Time for a new front fender,just didn't like the other one,also added new indicators front and rear,USB charger and phone holder
