I had a cracker of a ride on the weekend in a couple of ways, great ride with a couple of mates but managed to drop it at a stand still down a 1.5m drop and land on a pointy head shaped log straight on the ribs... The log won!
Two busted ribs and tears when I try to laugh/cough/sneeze!
Hopefully heals in time to do the watagans ride with my brother soonish..

fractured a rib at the start of the year when i fell into a deep hole on my KTM, chest onto the handle bars. Trying to roll over in bed was the worst.

Yep! You aren't wrong there! Even getting in and out of bed looks like a bad impression of a 90 year old.. Nice shooting pains all the way up my neck if I breathe too deep too!

I threw on a front tubliss kit to match the rear with a new Dunlop mx3s. I also changed the gearing slightly, 13/48 from 13/50. This bike has a bucket load of punch in the mid range so I can afford to loose a little snap through the gearing change.
Really good first impressions with the tyre, very planted and no tucking the front or any nasty behaviour. I was hoping my order from motoworks nz was going to turn up before the ride so I could respring the front and have another tweak of the valving for shits and giggles but still waiting... Been a while now!
So I will ride the bike as is for the watagans rally on the weekend with the brother. Ribs are feeling mostly good. Only hurts when I sleep and take very deep breaths now.

The new importers are ****ing hopeless.

4 months now for 2 inlet valves, 4 sets of stainless collets and 2 valve springs.

Time to source parts direct from Europe.

Support for TM's has gone downhill since Cross country at Cessnock gave up the job.

And don't go to Motoworks in NZ , they are quick to take the money for an order but wont reply to emails or answer the phone to get the money returned for parts that cant be supplied,

Parts

All refunds are done through VISA if paid by card, you need to check with your Bank if not showing.
4 months for valves, not a chance. If they were ordered via the Dealer I think they were he has been on stop credit since beginning of the year.

Fixing the problems you guys have had has been a massive issue, dealers not paying, ordering wrong parts and a huge back log of orders to catch up that weren't supplied by the old importer have been just a few.

Many parts for Pre 08 are no longer carried in Italy and our stock of parts for 08 back has diminished considerably.

Dealers now have to reapply and if they are not solid or have a reasonable knowledge then they are not taken on.

Pricing has been another problem, several dealers buying multiple gasket kits for example. Kits on average are $30-39 dollars, dealers have been paying up to $70-90 AUD for them previously. Our prices are not a mistake so stockpiling by dealers cleared a 100 kits in less than a week on one model.

August, nothing happens in Italy now for 3-4 weeks so not a great time for our fortnightly stock orders but other than that parts are flowing to dealers and bikes have also been delivered.
ADR is underway on most road models and a new warehouse is being set up to speed things up, has been tuff getting things caught up from the mess that was there but almost done.

If I can help then send me a pm and I will try to assist. There is also a new website coming and that has the 3 contacts for each area.

Hi mate,
Wondering if those parts came in off b/o before those Italians have their mid year siesta?
Can I please get some sort of time frame? I have sent a couple of emails through.
Cheers, Nate.
