Im one for running the 110 rear tyre and I went the 120 coz its all everyone raves about running. As quick as I could wear that 120 out I did and have gone back to the nimble 110 rear .. I find I get better grip and wear from the 110 and damn it handles so much better in tight bits ... I even run a 110 on my 15' 480 !!

I've gone back to Michelin.

I have a pair of Star Cross mediums on, the 90/100 front and the 120/90 rear.

The rear looked really skinny, not sure why but it looks fine now that it's fitted.

I rode a mate's KTM 300 with this front tyre and liked it.

I might go for a ride around my secret test track and do some proper trails tomorrow.

The speed in tight terrain of Grabbo (he was on a 480), et al was awesome to watch - you're 5 metres behind, turn round a tree, change gear, look up and they're gone.

Yep, 25 or so Betas on the Saturday with a couple of "ring ins"
Exactly 15 Betas on the Sunday ride - with a cracking pace set by the lead rider
Towards the end I stayed back in the pack so I could ride at my own pace and enjoy some alone time riding in the bush, but knowing that if I had an "issue" there was support coming along behind me. I noticed the cornerman positions were very popular as the ride progressed with 3 or 4 riders using the opportunity to catch their breath

This particular ride was BETA customer based and judging by its success will be the first of many more around the country.
We all got a taste for the riding on offer in the area and a heap of us on DBW are keen to get back for more, so keep an eye out for a future posted ride.

daddyrat and nocams could show us around if we are nice to them....

Would be keen to join one of these rides, was it advertised anywhere or a secret wink wink nudge nudge caper?
