By 'supply coil' I'm guessing you're talking about the AC armature winding...

Is this voltage with the rec/reg disconnected?

You do realise that the 'resistance' is inconsequential and it's the impedance that determines the voltage across an AC winding?

It may be a shorted red/reg dragging the output voltage down or a failed field magnet from overheating.

I think he means source coil mate. It's got no spark

Crank angle sensor or Pulser coil, OK.

Still need to test it with no load on the coil, there was a batch of earlier (kokusan) pulser coils that were bad. Get it rewound.

I've got the original stator from my bike (got a high output Trail Tech in it). I can send it down if you want to try it?

All good it's going again. Those voltage results were with cables disconnected from everything.

Got a new Stator from Beta. They looked after me with pricing so I'm happy. I tested the new one to compare results. 14.5 ohms on source coil or exciter whatever you call it and a peak voltage of around 44 volts kicking it over fast. Old one was 4 ohms and 3.4 peak volts.

Rest of stator is good - the windings for lights and battery charging. I got a price to rewind the exciter pole - it was more expensive then the new one.
