No real surprises here, looking forward to a back to back test with the husky and ktm. I recon it will rate pretty high. Cheers for posting this.

Although the ergos and layout didn't suit me on the Beta one of the things I really loved when riding the 350 like the Sherco 300 at the dirtbike demo days earlier in the year was the smooth linear power from top to bottom. For single track or racing I would much prefer this style of power over the Ktm/Husky/Berger 350. I wonder if the Synajet system has something to do with it or it just comes down to Beta setup. Anyway they did a great job with motor.

How can they write "its snappy and revvy and fast" all the things a experienced rider wants yet then says "don't worry if you're a novice the power is smooth predictable and manageable" ?

Its what you want it to be its very smooth but goes just like you would expect from a race bike if you turn the throttle. Sounds crazy but its a good description and I can see what they are saying. If you can try and get a ride on a demo you maybe surprised.
