i'm using the clake one light clutch which helps a lot with dodgy middle aged fingers but reckon if the electronic auto clutch is ready some time next year i'll be fitting one of those the way my left hand is going.

owen at clake asked if he could hire me to do the vids for this project funding but i just said i'd be happy to do the vids in exchange for one of those auto clutches when they go into production (hopefully next year?).

The rider in that vid is pretty good. I am also an unashamed supporter of the One and the Clake2. I'm in.

looks like that is mainly for research, science and IT sort of stuff, poper? can't find anything where they are encouraging engineering.

None of it's really innovative anyway. Just existing ideas transferred to motorcycles. The electric clutch for example, 'fly by wire' clutches already exist, but the original idea was implemented in air craft to replace mechanical linkages. (hence the term 'fly' by wire.)

The one light using a force balancing system similar to a garage door.

Don't get me wrong, they make neat stuff. I love my one light clutch!
