So had it out yesterday. Don't feel too bad, just letting the endone do its thing.

Worst part was them pulling the drain out this morning.....

Notice no one said anything about that?

It's effed up, eh. I hated that. They must have had a heap of morphine coming up to its use by when I was in because they kept trying to load me up. It was like: how do you feel? Oh, a bit uncomfortable.. Whoa that sounds like pain!? > produces syringe <

I was saying look, NO, I wanna have a shit this financial year man..

If anyone from the old days had of seen me refuse opiates that'd have not believed it.

The best part was this male nurse Roman, who was Transylvanian or some shit and I dunno if he was taking the piss but he was like, you can not drive ( yeah right bro ) do not go svimming, you have zese holes, you vill sink, you vill drown..

I walked out, got into my Typhoon with 520 lb front coils and drove my youngest kid to Redcliffe across the bridge with all the expansion joints.

Ouch..

Life is good from here on in, unless you had the same surgeon as me, when he removed the stitches it was like getting flicked with a wet tea towel the rough bastard.

Easy enough to remember, even after all these years. Hurt more than a vasectomy, that 'effin drain.

No one told me about codeine though, I had to find out the hard way. But life is pretty good from the moment you wake up.

No more pain.

So had a bit of pain today so ate a panadeine forte on an empty stomach....

Sweet Jesus I won't be doing that again!!!! The pain was way more intense than anything I had from the stones. Nearly had my wife take me to hospital, never felt anything like it.

You were advised!

They say Imodium is off limits too, I'm not prepared to find out personally, I'll take their word for it.

Apart from that, enjoy life with no shithouse gall stone pain!

Mine was removed last May 2016, but before that, I suffered from too much pain everytime it was attacked. My gallbladder is full of gallstones everytime I rushed to the E.R. the doctor always said that it needs to be removed. The last attacked may 2016 I decided to remove it through Laparoscopic Gallbladder Surgery. The recovery time is short compared to open surgery.
