Seriously the Australian healthy eating guidelines are a joke. Eat 6 serves of white bread a day and see how fat you get. I put on mine I was avoiding lactose and it told me I needed more serves of dairy. I wouldn't consume any puss laden and chemical infused dairy if you paid me. Also for serves of fruit you could include tinned fruit. WTF

I must say compared to the days of the healthy eating pyramid, it is taking a step in the right direction and also all the advertising warning people of the dangers of sugary drinks and foods but holy shit still a long long way off. There are still way too many processed foods and grains that cause inflammation being advocated. Don't get me started on dairy but seriously unless you have your own cow in the backyard and you don't use chemicals, you are consuming massive amounts of toxins.

The latest research indicates Glyphosate (Weed killer) is being discovered in everything from corn flakes, to dairy, to meat and the mutations it will cause in our next few generations are not going to be pretty.

52-nailed it!

Am I not to expect full cream(pus/toxin) milk in my coffee if I drop by then big orse?!!

The glyphosate/round up bein found in corn flakes, milk, meat might explain why every time I piss on the back lawn I leave a dead patch!

CSIRO doesn't like my diet, my Doctor loves the results of my diet, I'll go with the results based diet.

its a general guide. its not going to replace a proper nutritionist.

i get milk/cheese/yoghurt from a local dairy, pretty sure they are close to organic in their practises. if you can find it/ask your local grocer for "tilba real milk"

I scored 53 and feeling good about that. (Aged 52)
We are lucky to have such good food choices in Australia. You have to work on it though. It's all too easy to be lazy and opt for "convenience" food IMO.

60/100 looks like the occasional beer (3-4 a week) and ice cream (1-2 a week) and my lack of whole grains (they give me reflux) affects my score.
