TIG Remote Schematic help???

IMG_0467.JPG

This is in the manual for my Esseti tig.

2k2 pot or 10k?
Can I assume they haven't bothered to draw in an extra resistor?

Is this for the pulse remote pendant?
Edit..On closer inspection just looks like the start/stop remote.
I really gotta stop looking at diagrams on my mobile without my specs

It could be either:

10K pot with 2.2k resistor in series on the + side (MAX CNT) to drop the control voltage to the correct level (from 12v to 10V) for the control card input.
This would seem unlikely as there is a dedicated terminal for the + side.

or

A resistor in series with the wiper.

or

The pot resistance can be anywhere between 2.2k to 10k. This is common and most variable speed drives can take multiple pot sizes. The wiper leg acts as a ratio or percentage of the voltage between + and ground.

You should probably get an electrician to open it up and check, or send it to the service agent.
