3klm at level 10, in 12 minutes. There used to be a bit of competition in the gym at work, until people started vomiting on the floor. One bloke did 3k's in just over 8 mins.

I got into it a few years ago when working on the boats. Did a 19:10 for 5km at my best. I actually just bought another one in December. I love it, take it everywhere I go too. I am not back yet, but am getting there.

There is no easy row. That's what I love about it. I am 50, so it's going to take a while to do that 19:10 again. I did a sub 21 for the 5km the other day.

Bloody good way to get and keep fit.

I try to row at 22spm all the time when training. When going for a time, it's all out. I think my best 2km time is 7:12.

I havent been on one for ages, used to use them alot, but there is one at the gym in hotel im staying at for work so decided to have a go. Gave it a crack today, 9950m in 40min on 8, nearly got the 10k... Bloody hot in the gym though, no fan... Was sweating like a hooded rapist. Good workout though, would love one for home....

That's good. A guy at work ( young fella) could do 10k in 38:10. A mate of mine(young fella again) got on my rower for the second time the other day in 3 years and did 19:08 for 5k straight up. He is tall and made for rowing.

They're not too bad on the Aussie website. I got a 3 month old one that was previously used for a rental for $1100. The thing is brand new. They last a really long time too.

By the way it makes no difference what damper setting you use. I always go by the machine advice and set the damping to match the machine. Mine is set at 8 now. If you use 10 it feels slightly harder and you can just row slower. If you use 5 you just have to row faster.

I had one last year, thought it would be a good way of cardio training for Safari.

Became bored real quick & decided to ride more often instead & sold the machine.

2k 6.48m (1.44.5) don't do many 2k's

5k 19.21m (1.56.1) have not done a new 5k for a while looks a bit slack

10k 38.52m (1.56.6) Most common distance

30min 7981m (1.52.8) should have another go and beat 8000m in 30mins

I've got bike bars on mine.
