Shocked to hear this today . Condolences to his family and friends here.

He was a gentleman and a great bloke.
I only rode with him 4 or 5 times but he said recently to me on facebook he was getting ready to come back soon after going to the doctor about his knee this month.

He was still a very keen rider - to drive from the southside of Brisbane to ride and mark tracks at Imbil at his age you would have to love it . He loved to smash the untouched single tracks .
I remember on the last Xmas ride I was behind him and he just disappeared
- charging away .
He loved to tinker with his bikes and fabricate things .
Loved his 4 x4 - we used his truck to get an injured Moto out of part of Glasshouse. I don't think he was happy about the possibility of scratching it but he did it .
Cheers Frank we will miss you

Franks wife just posted this..... Can't stop thinking about Cranky Franky and Petes catch up that won't happen, hoping to make his funeral.

Thank you for everyone's support during the loss of David and Brendan's dad and my beloved husband.

We will be taking Frankie back to his home town of Stuarts Point.

The funeral will be on Thursday 29th June at 11 am at the Stuarts Point Anglican Church.

In honour of Frankie's obsession of marking his moto trails with pink tape, and only pink tape, we welcome everyone to wear something pink on the day.

For all Frankie's Queensland friends unable to make the journey to NSW we will be organising a memorial in QLD, the date will be confirmed in the coming days..

Again thank you all for the love and support you have given me and the boys.

Ride little, on here even less. but had to log on to express my shock and sadness. Only rode with Frank a few times, but from my first intro, he was a friendly , a true gentleman and always happy. Sad.

I never met Frank but know him from dbw, and from all accounts he sounds like a legend of a bloke, and it sounds like he really enjoyed life. Makes me keener to cut ST and ride more.

Condolences to his family and friends. It's a nice touch getting people to wear pink for his memorial.
