Interesting how this thread has progressed. Some great content and opinions being expressed. I'd really like to see another KTM ride day at Murphy Creek (they did one earlier in the year) to get some good seat time on the new model.

The fact that you dragged me into this, shows who is most lacking social skills.

Not to mention geography skills. Newcastle is 400 kms from Canberra, Nutty. You need to get out of your cave more often.

There is way too much on-line history between Nutty and I, for this nonsense to be dismissed as friendly banter.

Back to the bike talk.......

Do they do this often, I've never been to a ride day and would love to ride different bikes back to back. Particularly 350v300 as these would be the capacity bikes i'd be looking at next. Is there some sort of list where you can put your name down for when the time comes??

Don't get your hopes up Norm. Every KTM ride day I've done has been so busy that you can't really turn the bikes over quick enough to get a fair comparison. Sometimes you'll only get to ride 1-2 bikes. Beta ride days are awesome though.

There's these new things called phones. You can say hello to anyone, anywhere in the world. Should be easy to dial with six fingers...

I apologise Spaccers, you're correct. I will not shitstir you from this day forward, you have my word on that.

Power delivery is no different to suspension - we all have different preferences.

Some people get off my bike and look at me like I am a madman.

Others have a big smile.....I am not upset either way.

Whatever happens, it is good to try other setups and help determine what suits you best so you get the most fun out of your riding.
