"I need a starter motor"? 501 Berg

Can anyone assist me in finding a s/motor for my bike, or know of where I should try??? They are $780 new?? and thats alot of "hair-cuts" for the missus??
Any help appreciated.

See my reply over at Husaberg.org. Even the new larger starter motor from the 04 model is only$434. And it will fit your bike.

I didn't get a price on the smaller starter that you currently have but I know it is cheaper still.

Let me know if you can't get one at the right price and I'll help you sought something out.

no its buggered mate! Took it to a rewind shop and they dont want to know about it, well they will for $400+. So I'll wait for a new 04 650 unit.

ohhh nasty so it failed the growler test.

sounds like force could help you sorry i dont know of any i hope you can get one for a much better option than origonly priced.

hey on another note how'd ya go with your carby setup?

I have a mate up here with a 650 i want to bolt a KTM 520 carb on it to see what it does

Yes I have "after" much sorting got the FCR just about perfect!
He would be VERY surprised at how good his 650 went if he fitted the KTM's carby!

yes I am trying to tell him that but gettign him up here before i go to fit and play will be a mission but i am keen to see how the big girl goes
