Michael - Looks awesome.

I just picked mine up last weekend. Haven't had a chance to get out on her yet.

I was just wondering what you greased and loctited and how long you rode before you dumped the oil.

This is my first new bike and first two stroke for a long time so i want to make sure I prep it properly.

Cheers

Hi Mate.
I stripped the forks out and greased the steering head bearings, swinging arm and linkage bearings shock bushes, bit of grease on all the shrouds and guard screws, greased all the electrical connections. Loctite bar mounts, rear frame bolts, repositioned rectifier, removed all switch blocks plastic bags around spare connectors and secure, remove lock nuts and Loctite lock stops Loctite rear disc bolts and rear sprocket bolts, put "t" pieces in carb vents and route hoses into air box.Cable tie anything and everything. Remove the case on the side of the cylinder and make a note of the piston grade while it's visible, then you can re order before you disassemble.I dropped the oil after going round the block a couple of times, checked and cleaned the magnet then put the same oil back in.
I think that's all folks.
Cheers Michael.

New? An '18 doesn't look much different to a '14 IMO.

I know there's been lots of minor running revisions in that time though.

I hope Beta don't get like TM where a 2008 and a 2018 are still very similar bikes.

Great bikes though, I really like them.

Hi mate,
Yep back to white plastic, but that's ok don't mind a change. I was a bit worried about changing from my 17 model it was the best bike I've owned up to now, but seems ok .
Cheers Michael

A couple of other things to watch, Re Loctite the stand bolt and put some rubber tubing on the clutch line where it crosses the triple clamps.
